Setting up email interaction with this forum

Kia ora @jeffemmett , I notice that Michel and other P2PF veterans live in their email inbox (as do I, to some degree). So they found Loomio useful for being able to receive and reply posts to the group as emails.

Discourse can be configured to enable email interactions. Either on a receive-only basis, with a link for coming back to the forum to write a reply, or accepting and posting replies sent by email. Can we make the latter the default on this forum?

Do you know if there’s a way to start a new topic by email? Like a specific address to send an email to with the topic title and text and the email title and text, maybe.
